Dr. Baptista Kwok, B.Sc., D.D.S.
Dr. Baptista Kwok is from Toronto, Canada. Realizing early his interest in science, medicine and engineering, Dr. Kwok found a combination of all three aspects in dentistry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Western Ontario in 1992; then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996.
Dr. Kwok's spent first his four years of dental practice in Canada, working as a dentist in a remote rural area and in a metropolitan city. He went on to obtain his dental implant training and education from the Carl Misch Implant Institute at the University of Pittsburgh. He graduated from that program in 2001.
In 2000, Dr. Kwok obtained his Washington State License. He currently maintains a General Family Dentistry practice located in the Meadow Creek Professional Center in Issaquah, WA. His scope of practice also includes extraction of wisdom teeth, root canal therapy, white fillings, gum treatment, crowns, bridges, veneers, full mouth reconstruction treatment, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kwok has placed a priority on advancing his education and he frequently attends dental lectures and courses to keep his techniques current. He is also involved in a dental implant study club where he collaborates with other dentists on the latest dental implant techniques and developments. This is not only for the benefit for the patients of his practice, but also for those whom Dr. Kwok sees when doing volunteer work. Dr. Kwok has provided dental care to migrant worker's children in Washington and to locals in Cambodia. Dr. Kwok has also helped set up and worked in a dental clinic in rural Nepal with another colleague.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Kwok enjoys spending time with his family and friends, mountain climbing, outdoor photography, sailing, cycling, and hiking. He has climbed Mount Baker, Mount Rainier, Kala Patthar, Imjatse, Manasulu, Aconcagua, Denali, and Everest.

Dr. James Ma is from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto in 1992. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University in 1996. The following year Dr. Ma completed a general practice residency at the University of Rochester in New York where his experience included managing medically compromised patients.
Dr. Ma provides General Family Dentistry in Issaquah, WA. He also provides minor orthodontics (Invisilign) and transparent braces. He believes in providing his patients comprehensive dental treatment that will help them better plan for their future dental needs.
Achievements
Dr. Chow grew up in Vancouver, B.C. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia. After completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia in 2000, Dr. Chow associated in a private practice in Richmond, B.C. In 2005, she relocated to Washington state where she resides with her husband and two young children.
Outside interests include travel to Europe, cooking, drawing and hiking. Her two energetic boys take up most of her spare time these days.
Dr. Chow is fully committed to patient-centered care. She believes in spending quality time with each patient and providing as much information as needed so they can make informed decisions regarding their dental health.
Dr. Ann T. Hua, B.A., B.Sc., D.M.D.
Dr. Ann Hua grew up in Seattle, Washington. She graduated with a B.A. in Linguistics, a B.S. in Biochemistry, and a Minor in Chemistry from the University of Washington in 2004.
She then moved to Boston, Massachusetts where she completed her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Post-graduation, she did a one-year General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York.
Following her residency, she associated in Dorchester, Massachusetts in a family-owned General Dentistry practice.
During the Summer of 2007, Dr. Hua had the opportunity to meet and provide treatment to some of the kindest people in Port-au-Prince and Jacmel, Haiti on a dental mission trip.
The trip was arguably one of the most memorable and humbling experiences of her dental career.
It also ignited in her a passion for third world dental missions and awareness which she hopes to continue pursuing throughout her professional career.
Apart from dentistry, Dr. Hua enjoys a wide range of activities that is dependent upon the season.
This includes, but is not limited to, traveling, running, hiking, snowboarding, watching romantic comedies, and finding great eats.
